Mama Natura Design-a-Wrap Competition

Mama Natura are really excited to announce the very first Mama Natura Design-a-Wrap competition in conjunction with Girasol.

* The winning designed will need to be approved by Girasol
* The winning designer will receive a wrap measuring 3.6 m as a prize from Mama Natura, they can of course upgrade if necessary. (Prize is subject to the wrap being woven as per terms below)
* You may submit up to 3 designs per household
* Entries must be submitted by 8pm on 1st June 2010
* Entries must be received by email in either JPEG, GIF, PNG or BMP formats.
* Maximum image size 600 x 200pixels
* You must include the thread names with your design
* Entries need to emailed to ally@mamanatura.co.uk
* An order for the winning design will only be placed if at least 90m are
pre-ordered with a 50% deposit paid.

Gorgeous shades of blue and purple, very gender neutral.
This wrap is going to be stunning!

Pre-orders will be accepted until May 16th, and the wraps will be made from May-June, with expected arrival early-mid July.

~Spring~

I was thinking of really cold, heavy, end of winter rains, dark skies, dark mud, everything chilly and damp. Suddenly a few warm days emerge and we sing because Spring has arrived!!! Brilliant green sprouts burst from the earth, the stormy blue skies turn cerulean and joyful, and finally the rain is chased away.

Keonislings is now the Girasol woven wraps distributor for New Zealand and Australia!
To kick this new venture off, we're having an exclusive wrap design made by Girasol.This design (at the top) was a team effort from the members of the Baby-Carriers-Downunder Google Group. The olive greens are there to honour the founder of the group and babywearing guru/daddy Paulus. It's his favourite colour.
The red and purple are colours we settled on as the ones most of us like. It's the Downunder Girasol.

The wrap is expected to be available in June or July '10.
