Pregnancy and a new baby is the most happiest and precious of gifts, full of celebration and rejoicing. Sadly, many family's celebrations are cut short, devastation and heartbreak replaces the happy joyous feelings. Today is pregnancy and infant loss awareness day. I have many friends who have lost their precious babies, my heart aches for them. A couple months ago a sweet mama, named Adrienne wrote to me about her struggles with infertility, she shared with me the pregnancy and infant loss awareness ribbon. She expressed to me how many mamas felt an emptiness and ached for a baby in their arms. She shared with me her personal struggles with infertility and how she had fought for each one of her babies, and as she went through heartache time and time again, her sweet little girl sang to her the song " I can see clearly now." Adrienne and little Sadie would sing together, Sadie singing in her sweet little voice "bright, bright sunshiney day." These sweet words sang by her little girl gave her hope and determination to not give up on having a baby in her arms again. There is a lesser known section of that song that my friend has shared with me.. I CAN MAKE IT NOW THE PAIN IS GONE... ALL OF THE BAD FEELINGS HAVE DISSAPPEARED.... HERE IS THAT RAINBOW I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR... IT'S GONNA BE A BRIGHT (BRIGHT), BRIGHT, BRIGHT SUN SHINEY DAY. For my friend, this song serves as a reminder that she has come through the storm before, she has been fortunate enough to experience two miracles, and she has the hope that she will experience one more "BRIGHT SUNSHINEY DAY" While others stories are different, many have walked through similar storms of loss, infertility, and heartache. This wrap was created for each of YOU that have weathered such storms. Maybe you have survived the battle and had your "BRIGHT SUNSHINEY DAY" maybe you are still weathering the storm and hoping and praying for your "Bright Sunshiney Day" ...this is for you Here is a little note from my friend Adrienne with her feelings about this design.. " I hope the wrap you have created offers them hope for a future sunshiney day, the courage to keep pushing through the storm to meet their rainbow, and the knowledge that they are not alone in their struggle."
This wrap is dedicated to Adrienne, Rickee, Chennelle, Kimbrah, Nicole, Amy, Casmere, Grace, and all the mamas who have weathered this storm. you are loved, and not alone.
A special thank you to Sierra for helping orchestrate a little sunshine in Adrienne's journey.
